Having worked in radio for just under a decade, most of my voice over work began when I did internal work for the various radio stations I worked for.
This included commercials for clients, radio station imaging and sweeps as well as content pieces for the various shows I worked on, this ranged from lighthearted jingles to impersonations.
Later, I had the chance to network, giving me the opportunity to do voice over jobs for private corporates as well as smaller agencies.
Both radio and MC work has allowed me to master and control my voice and taught me the importance of breathing and good mic technique.
My first language is English, but I come from a bilingual home thus I’ve recently started doing Afrikaans voice over work, predominantly in the form of short advertisements.
I enjoy lending my voice to narrating (stories, audio books and documentary style work) as well as commercials that require a clean and crisp sound.
