Lulama Dingani was born in Bloemfontein and raised in Cape Town where she found her love for drama and performing. She did drama throughout high school and studied further at AFDA Johannesburg where she graduated with a degree in Live Performance. She was part of productions like ‘I Am’ which was selected to be a part of the UJ LGBT Festival, ‘She’ a Romeo and Juliet adaptation where she played Romeo and ‘The Silenced Opera’ graduation play. After graduating she landed her breakout role in the hit Mzansi Magic telenovela, ‘Isithembiso’, where she played the feisty LGBT activist Nomvula.
