Megan Edwards is a Cape Town based, Training Facilitator, Voice Actor, Radio Presenter, MC, Mentor, and a Voice and Speech certificate holder who inspires through her craft.
Megan started her voice acting career in the late 90’s while working in the Telecommunications Industry. She started doing announcements in retail outlets as well as radio commercials, Interactive Voice recordings and much more. She went on to complete a Professional Voice Acting Diploma with Barbara Barbierie-Biebie Productions. She went on to continue doing voice over’s for various big brands.
In 2016 she started working in Community Radio, producing and anchoring a Health and Wellness weekly show at Radio Kaapse Punt (RKP).
In 2017 Megan started doing Voice Dubbing for Blended Audio and has been a main character in a series for the past 3 years.
Megan was headhunted by a Commercial Radio Station, Magic828am, and is currently one of the smoothest voices that Night-time Radio has to offer.
In 2019 Megan Edwards was a finalist in the Liberty Radio Awards in the Best night time show Presenter category.
As a professional MC, she has quite a few prestigious events under her belt, from the Fabulous Women's Awards, The Cape Town Natural Hair Festival, weddings and corporate events.
Megan has done Voice overs for big brands like Toyota, Metabo Powertools, Cape Aqua water, One Pet Insurance and much more. You can catch Megan every Sunday- Thursday on Magic828 from 9pm-12pm!
