Maya Boraine is an actress and model, born and raised in Cape Town. She received theatre and music training from a young age and her keen interest in people and their stories prompted her to pursue a career in the performing arts. As soon as she finished school, she spent a year abroad in the UK where she attended summer course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is currently studying a BA in Drama and Sociology at UCT part-time and works as a commercial actress and model. She has a range of experience working for local and international clients such as Mr Price, ShareNow, Puma, Etisalat, Losk and more.
