Ghia Koch-Human

Ghia Koch-Human is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative career has spanned from being a creative in advertising, to a visual artist and performer. As a performer she has graced the stage in a variety of live roles, from clubs to quirky cabaret characters in theatre, as well as work on screen, from TV commercials to short films. In her latest offering she played the support role for the award-winning short film ‘Reflection Point’. She has lent her voice to leads of Telenovela series and TV commercials but she most enjoys giving life to animated characters. With her rich, warm and expressive voice she leads her function band, The Fizz, covering Jazz Standards, modern swing and funk. As a recording artist, Ghia switches to an eclectic yet compelling alternate electronic sound described by reviewers as ‘powerful, ‘hard-hitting finesse’, vocally dominated, ‘electro jazz leanings, rich and wholesome in its simplicity’, … to name a few. This mezzo/soprano belter combines her range with her acting skill set to breathe life into any character or sell your product through song or word.
