Roshina Ratnam graduated with a performer's diploma from UCT. Besides her stage and film work, she runs an industrial theatre group working with social issues.
As an actress she has had roles in Sweat on Somerset (as Kirsty, 2000 and 2001), For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf (2002), Salaam Stories (2004), Hamlet (as Ophelia, 2005), The Return (2008).
Other productions include A Dream Deferred (20**), Equus (20**), Happy Endings are Extra (20**), My Body is my Home (2004?, traveling to Maputo, Paris, and Amsterdam),
Roshina portrayed Sadako in the puppet play Sadako in 2013.
She performed in a play for children at The Obs Family Festival in 2016.
She had a role in the film Disgrace, released in 2008. Other TV and film work includes SOS, Slavery of Love and The Meeting Room.
