Cintaine Schutte finished her BA Drama at the University of Stellenbosch in 2008 and completed her Honours in acting at the University of Cape Town in 2009, and since her graduation has been working in all aspects of performance in SA including Theatre, Film, Television and Radio. Her recent theatre work includes works such as Mutton Hour, Dobbel, Die dinge van ‘n kind, Tien Duisend Ton, Slim se Baas, Huishou, Half Leeg en Winterboom.
Her Television credits include: Om&Om, Projek Dina 3, Magda Louw, Huisgenoot Blokraaibestes , Fraksie, Die dinge van ‘n kind, Recipes for Love&Murder, Asb & Dankie… to name but a recent few! She has also been part of RSG's "Mooiste Sprokies van Grimm" where she played a variety of characters.
Cintaine is an award-winning actress, having won the prestigious Fleur du Cap in 2016, and 2021 Kyknet Fiesta Sinjatuur Award. She has been nominated many times for both her theatre and Film & TV work. She is also involved in the production side of things, working for various theatre companies and festivals. Cintaine is a seasoned professional and will bring her professionalism to bear on any project she is involved in.
