With a versatile career spanning theatre, film, television, and voice work in isiXhosa, English, and Afrikaans. His film highlights include notable projects such as Albert Schweitzer, directed by Gavin Millar, and work with Oscar-winning Italian director Paolo Sorrentino.
On television, his extensive credits feature productions like Isithembiso (Mzansi Magic), Ambitions (eTV), Scandal (eTV), and Savage Beauty II (Netflix). Anele has also performed with two European repertory companies: Toneelgroep de Appel in the Netherlands and Teater Nordkraft in Denmark. His theatre repertoire is rich and diverse, encompassing classical and contemporary works, including Othello, Hamlet, The Island, and Sizwe Banzi is Dead, performed at renowned venues like the Market Theatre, Baxter Theatre, Joburg Theatre and ArtsCape Theatre.
