Fadzai Simango is a Cape Town based actor, a graduate of the University of Cape Town’s Theatre Department. A classically trained performer, he has experience acting both on stage and on camera. He has been involved in Theatre productions such as Tiisetso Mashifane’s Sainthood, television series like HBO’s Raised By Wolves (2020), and films like Girl You Know It’s True (2022).
In addition to acting, Fadzai also has a background in music, having been involved in choir and chamber choir and taking piano lessons in school. His experience as a singer has lent itself to refining his vocal talents as an actor.
Fadzai has an aptitude for picking up on and imitating various accents. Thanks to periodic visits to the Britain to see his extended family and a brief time spent living in Australia as a child, he is able to comfortably slip into a UK English accent and an Australian accent. He is also able to imitate US (General American and Southern American) accents.
