Born Abdi Hussein in Brooklyn, New York Whosane relocated to Cape Town in 2009, and immediately gained critical attention in Africa and beyond. Whosane joined forces with MC Jimmy Flexx and talented vocalist Nonku to form the group Pangaea, and released his solo album Prelude to Black Diamond. As a member of Cape Town based band, The Rudimentals, Whosane has illustrated his creative versatility, topping South African charts. To date Whosane has shot print & TVC campaigns with: Pepsodent, Hyundai, Levi, BMW, Corona, Quaker Oats, Cote D'Or & Dial soap. Whosane has also appeared on several Discovery Network & BBC feature presentations and is the Voice of several international brands.
